Kathryn is completing her Advanced Coach Certification through the International Coach Academy. She is a graduate of the Inspired Destiny and Great Decisions programs with Lisa Dion and Jolina Karen as well as The Breakthrough Experience with Dr. John Demartini. In addition, she is a graduate of The Community Resource Center Nonprofit Leadership and Management training programs.
Kathryn earned her MS from Colorado State University and her BS from The Colorado College, Colorado Springs, CO. She brings twenty five years of leadership experiences to her coaching practice. Specific areas of expertise include elementary education, management, government, not-for-profit leadership, the outdoor industry, guiding, and innovation. She is an advocate for enhanced Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities in her local school district to ensure students, parents, teachers, and families are inspired by learning and engaged in relevant, exciting, inquiry-based education. She has over ten years of management experience including non-profit management, environmental education, community center programming, and senior services. Kathryn’s leadership experience also includes fifteen years of guiding and teaching for organizations such as The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC); High Mountain Institute; Vail Mountain School, and Teton Science School (TSS).
Kathryn offers her coaching practice to clients around the world via the telephone and Skype. She and her husband live in the mountains of Colorado. The Grohusky family focuses on the mountain lifestyle by cultivating adventurous outdoor explorations while mountain biking, nordic skiing, and telemark skiing.
